Google Sitemap Generator for WordPress 2.7

This is just a minor bugfix release. If you are using the "custom pages" feature, I recommend you to update the plugin due to incorrect handling of the last modification date in custom pages, which was displayed as YYYY-DD-MM instead of YYYY-MM-DD.

Changes:

  • Fixed bug with incorrect date format in custom pages
  • Added Swedish Translation by Tobias Bergius

If yahoo comesup something similar to google sitemaps, I hope you will do a plugin for that too.

Ich habe leider ein kleines Problem mit dem Plugin, das bei mir bis jetzt immer sehr gut funktioniert hat. Ich habe letztens die Permalinkstruktur geändert, das Sitemap Plugin hat leider diese Änderung nicht übernommen ,so dass die Links von der Sitemap auf eine Errorseite führen. Was mache ich den falsch? Vielen Dank, Max

Hallo, erstmal großes Lob für das Plugin- mir ist allerdings aufgefallen, dass es das wp-shortStat Plugin am Arbeiten hindert. Ist der Fehler bekannt?

Hi Muslar,

ja, ich hatte dazu unter http://wordpress.org/support/topic/42501 einen Workaround beschrieben. In den nächsten Wochen (je nachdem wie ich Zeit habe) werde ich eine neue Version zur Verfügung stellen welche dieses Problem behebt.

Ich habe ein Blog unter http://www.portal-der-schoenheit.de/blog/

Ist es mit dem Tool möglich auch eine Sitemap der Hauptseite zu erstellen? Oder wird immer nur die Sitemap fürs Blog erstellt. Habe es nämlich versucht, bis jetzt aber noch nicht geschafft.

Hi Georg,

also eine automatische Crawler Funktion gibt es im Moment nicht, wäre wohl auch ziemlich aufwendig. Der Generator von Google kann z.B. auf Basis der Server-Logfiles die Sitemap erstellen. Da Du ja aber bestimmt ein CMS für die ja recht umfangreiche Seite benutzt, würde ich dort ansetzten und nach einem Plugin für dieses schauen bzw. entwickeln.
